Twenty Fourteen theme – different widgets for different categories of posts

    Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to display different sets of Images, via widgets, on different types of pages. For instance, in our section Herbal Medicine, we would like just to have images of herbs apearing in the columns, either side. If this is possible, please could you kindly give me instructions on how to do it?

    You can create multiple Gallery Widgets, one for each type of images and use Widget Visibility settings to show relevant gallery widget on each page.

    i.e. you will show the Herbal Medicine gallery widget only on Herbal Medicine page and hide on all other pages. Show XYZ Medicine gallery widget on XYZ Medicine page and hide on all other pages.

    Thanks, Chaitanyamsv! Yes, I do have another question. You’re talking about Pages – each Page being able to have its own widgets. But we’ve got all the articles on the blog in Posts, not Pages, and the Posts are in different Categories. So my question was about how we would operate this widget system according to Categories of Posts. If it’s not possible, and only possible through different Pages, could you help me work out how I re-organise all the Posts in our blog into Pages. Thank you very much!
