Twenty Fourteen Theme, how to set wider in CSS
-
I am trying to make the Twenty Fourteen WordPress theme wider, I got a good start from this thread which got me most of the way there. The comments though are not wider, how to I make the comment section width match the now wider page content area?

Lukestaff, could you please provide a link to the site in question? I don’t see any WordPress.com sites running Twenty Fourteen connected to this account.

Hi @thistimethisspace and @kathrynwp, thanks for the replys.
The site I am using this on is my personal site: http://lukeskaff.com
I added the following CSS to the bottom of the style.css file for the theme which I got from the thread I linked to in my first message. The problem is the comments section is not wider.
.site-content .entry-header, .site-content .entry-content, .site-content .entry-summary, .site-content .entry-meta, .page-content { margin: 0 auto; max-width: 1138px; }Is there a way to force this set page width so it does not resize when you resize the browser window? Also can the mobile theme be disabled?
