Twenty Fourteen top category menu

I have my category menu in both the top or main menu (so it shows up on a mobile device screen) and in the sidebar secondary menu. The one in the sidebar shows all my categories, which are plentiful because it’s a cooking blog. The top category menu does not show all the categories when I’m on a computer or iPad and will not let me scroll down to them all. Am I doing something wrong?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • The top menu doesn’t have any scroll mechanic, so essentially your categories are going off the page and you won’t be able to get to them.

Instead, I recommend sticking to the sidebar menu.

Also, consider turning some of those categories into tags instead: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/tags/

For example, Meat could be a category, while the types of meat could be tags.

Thanks for the tag idea. The reason I kept the list in the top menu is that it’s the one used in cellphone browsers as the main menu, but I’ll work on the tag idea and see how that works.
