Twenty seventeen and php 7

  Flywheel supplanted php 5.7 with php 7 and now my twenty seventeen site is crippled. How do I get it working without a rebuild. I may be forced to abandon wordpress for another platform to avoid paying thousands of dollars to rebuild. My site is an architecture/art portfolio and quite rich in content.
