Twenty Seventeen: How to add a button link to a page

  I want to have the typed links on several of my pages changed to button links. The wording on each of these buttons will be different and each will direct to a different page on the website when clicked.
  Is it possible to add a button link to the Twenty Seventeen theme?
  There is a button link on the front page of the Dyad them which is similar to what I am seeking.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I couldn’t figure out how to do this with code.

  Created buttons as images and inserted the images, then linked the image to the page I wanted to direct the button to link.
