Twenty Seventeen: Remove header image from rest of site
-
I’m using the twenty seventeen theme. I would like the header image to only be displayed on the Home page. Is there custom CSS I can use to ensure the header image does not appear on the other pages?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I’ll need to check with our experts to see if that’s something we can help with.
We’ll be back in touch once we get a response.
Thanks!

Thanks for your patience! You can use this CSS to do what you requested:
/* hide header on everything but homepage | XXXXXX-HC | GM */ body:not(.home) .wp-custom-header { display: none; } body:not(.home) .site-title, body:not(.home) .site-description { color: #000000; }That will hide the header image, and set the title and description to black on the pages the header is hidden on so they’re visible.
Also, since you have a paid plan for your WordPress.com site, you can get priority support for your site numehealthcare.wordpress.com if you still have trouble or have future questions.
You can reach out via email or live chat here:

I hope that helps!

One more question… Will I be able to add a logo to appear with the title and description on all the pages except the Home page?

I think so? This would be a great question to reach out via email or live chat, since they’re the ones who would be best able to figure that out for you. You can mention this thread and what CSS we already provided and they should be able to get you sorted. :)
