Hi. Please could you let me know how I can remove “About”, “Contact”, “Home” page titles from my pages. Happy with the Menu being available everywhere, just think the titles are not required on each page also. Thanks.

Provided you have purchased either a Business Plan or Premium plan you can edit the CSS. https://wordpress.com/pricing/ But do read Note 2 below.
Note 1: If you have the required upgrade you can use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can create a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need with CSS editing.
Note 2: You can also post there prior to purchasing an upgrade to get an answer to whether or not what you want to do can be accomplished via CSS editing.

Hi notjustnz, just to be clear on what timethief was communicating: it’s possible to achieve what you want.
The “About”, “Contact” and “Home” options shown at the top of your site are called the Menu items and deleting that menu will remove these from being shown on your WordPress.com site.
Here is what you should do. Open WordPress.com Customizer and click on the Menus button available on the left. You should see two menus there: Primary menu and Social Media.
Click on Primary Menu and remove all the menu items from this section. Or, scroll down and you will see a button called “Delete menu”
Clicking on this will delete the menu completely and the “About”, “Contact” and “Home” buttons will not show up on your WordPress.com site homepage anymore.
You can learn more about WordPress.com Menus here.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions.

Hi Strikebuys, thank you for your reply.
Sorry, I haven’t explained myself well enough … I am happy with the Menu in this theme and want to keep it, but my pages About, Contact and Testimonials all have the heading of their respective page and I think it is unnecessary and would like the text not to be on the pages. Can I tell each page to hide the heading/page name? Thanks.

You will require an upgrade for that. See https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/twenty-seventeen-hide-titles?replies=4#post-3058360
