twenty seventeen theme

Hi,
I need help with some issues please:1. When I search on site featured images of posts do not appear.
https://gfgoodbaking.com/?s=%D7%A1%D7%95%D7%A8%D7%92%D7%95%D7%9D2. Posts in blog list- I want them to be only image+title, without excerpts.
https://gfgoodbaking.com/tag/%d7%98%d7%91%d7%a2%d7%95%d7%a0%d7%99/3. How can I customize titles of sidebar (font size+center)?
4. Here I use “blog posts”, and when they are less than 4, they are centered, it looks weird especially when there are only two posts in category. I want them align right.
https://gfgoodbaking.com/recipes-catalog/5. I would like that when a post is chosen (blog/list…), it will open in a new window.
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Let me try to answer your questions one by one.
When I search on site featured images of posts do not appear.
This is expected behavior, not something that needs a fix.
Posts in blog list- I want them to be only image+title, without excerpts.
Try adding the More Block before adding any content to your post. This should help, but if you’re still having issues, we can also try some custom CSS code.
How can I customize titles of sidebar (font size+center)?
You can add this piece of code to My Site>Design>Customize>CSS:
/*Centers widget titles and changes font size*/ .wf-active h2.widget-title { font-size: 16.9px; font-weight: 700; text-align: center; }The numbers are what you see on your site right now, you can modify them to get the look that you’re after.
Here I use “blog posts”, and when they are less than 4, they are centered, it looks weird especially when there are only two posts in category. I want them align right.
I’m not sure exactly what are you trying to achieve here, can you please explain more?
I don’t see the posts to be center-aligned but maybe I’m missing something?I would like that when a post is chosen (blog/list…), it will open in a new window.
This can be done for links that you add on your site, however, what you’re trying to do can’t be modified just with custom CSS. By default, any post or page you open on your site will open in the same tab.
Also, remember that with your plan you can access Live Chat directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact. That way you can get help faster.

Thank you,
1. I think it will be better that the search results will be with images. is there a way to make it so?
3. ok, thanks.

I don’t have a category of two to show u now, but u can see here that the images are centered. When there are only 2 they are on the sides.5. Is there a way to change it?
I couldn’t get you through live chat today…. so I tried forum this time :)

Hi –
Feel free to retry chat support at any time. It’s available through https://wordpress.com/help/contact/ It will be the fastest way to get help for your questions.
1. No, that is not possible on the premium plan.
For the rest of the questions, this is how the theme is designed to work. Instead of diving in to extensive customization it might be a better idea to find a them that displays these items in your desired way. Browse through https://wordpress.com/themes/

Thank you.
I moved from veggie to 20 17, because I was tired of dealing with all the things, I thought it would be better here and I like the design… -
about search: at Veggie theme there are images in search results.
How can I check it when I’am looking for the theme? -
Hi there,
To clarify, you are looking for a theme that provides images in its search results like the Veggie Theme does?
If so, most themes with integrated searches will pull featured images associated with the term that you are searching for. I’m not sure you can search the theme page for themes with integrated search – I tried looking at themes under
https://wordpress.com/themes?s=search but it came up with themes with a search option. However, you can add a search widget to any theme and have the same features included.
Hope that helps – let me know if that is what you are referring to.
Thanks,
-
But you see, I added search widget add didn’t get the same feature.
I’m not experienced, so I don’t know about all the things I should check when looking for theme… so I check what I know and then I figure out other things I was not thinking about :)
