Twenty seventeen theme

I wanted to use the Twenty Seventeen theme. However, I find that
‘Automatically use first image in post’ as a feature option, which was available, has gone missing! Can you please restore it?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Having a closer look at your site counterview.org it seems to be using the GatewayThemeIt’s not the Twenty Seventeen theme, is there any other site you are looking for help with?
On the Gateway Theme to be able to Set the “Automatically Use First Image in Post”
Navigate to
Themes–>Customize–>Content Options
Featured Images section the third Checkbox should enable it.Hope this helps, let us know if you need any further assistance..!

Strange! The option was available on the new Twenty Seventeen theme, on which I wanted to shift my new blog pratisad.wordpress.com. It was available in the past, and now suddenly it has disappeared!!!

Even this site is using the Gateway theme, you can manage it using the details I provided in my previous reply, the Twenty Seventeen theme does not have an option to do that, you can read about in in the Content Options section of the theme page here https://wordpress.com/theme/twentyseventeenPreviously it might be, not sure.

You can do so by Switching the theme to Twenty Seventeen, you will have to set the Featured Images, you can control the visibility from the Content Options. If you want to display the Featured images at various places you can do so by managing the options.
