Twenty Seventeen; widget and featured image problem

  Hi,

  I’m having 2 issues with this theme. For the two footer widgets in this theme, it seems that the search and category widgets are persistent even when I delete them.

  Also, under the content options, the featured images are still displayed on the pages even when I turn the option off.

  Maybe I misunderstand – you want https://moonlightmixtape.wordpress.com to not show any pictures, just text?

  When I click on one of the post titles on https://moonlightmixtape.wordpress.com the post itself (for example https://moonlightmixtape.wordpress.com/2017/03/29/my-journey-in-understanding-the-anime-culture) has no picture for me – is that what you wanted? You seem to have solved it by switching theme?
