Twenty Sixteen – how to change font size of site title and page title
-
Hi,
I quite like Twenty Sixteen, except for the fact that the page title is larger than the site title.
I would like to make the site title slightly bigger, and conversely the page title slightly smaller.
I would appreciate some help in the necessary CSS customisations to achieve the above.
Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian, this would require custom CSS which would require the Custom Design Upgrade, which you can find out more about at Store > Store in your dashboard.
You can try out and preview custom CSS before you buy as explained here. The following would be the CSS you would need to adjust the site title size. Adjust the 1.75rem as desired. The page titles are 2.5rem.
.site-title { font-size: 1.75rem; } -

hi there, I have the same question but for a self-hosted wordpress site. I’ve gone into the css editor page and altered the font size, but it doesn’t seem to actually change the font on our site. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Thomas

@thomasballphoto, there is a dedicated Twenty Sixteen support forum at WordPress.org for self-hosted sites using that theme. I would suggest posting there. I’m sure one of the volunteers will be able to help you out with that.
