Twenty Sixteen: menu mobile view broken?

    Hello,

    i have an issue with Twenty Sixteen – but only in mobile view.

    Primary menu is shown additionally (duplicate) at the bottom and breaks the footer (on android). it tried to test it with a new blog: testframeblog.wordpress.com -> same problem here.

    if second menu (social) is also activated, it also appears twice in mobile view: at the bottom (which is correct) and attached to the primary menu at the top (which is wrong)

    it seems there ist something wrong with the menus with Twenty Sixteen in mobile view…

    anyone who has an idea to fix this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    it doesn´t matter anymore because i have chosen another theme ;-)

  • I see how the the social menu appears twice in the mobile view and checked with the theme’s designer. The repetition is intentional, so readers don’t have to scroll far down to reach the social menu on small devices. Just wanted to thank you for the report, even though you’ve switched themes already. :)

    If anyone else happens to come across this thread and prefers to not have the mobile social menu at the top in Twenty Sixteen, it can be hidden with this custom CSS:

    .site-header-main .menu-social-links-container {
      display: none;
    }
