Hello everyone.
I would like to change the colour of the background behind the logo and navigation menu only and to keep the background of the whole site the same. How to do that? Thank you in advance!

Please provide the URL for the website in question so we can have a look at what exactly your trying to achieve.
You can make basic color changes to your site through your Customizer in the Colors & Backgrounds tab. My suggestion is to select the Palettes tab and try a few of the options out to see if they fit your needs. For more advanced color customizations you may require the use of custom CSS which will require an account upgrade to Premium or Business. I have access to the CSS file as I already did some changes there. I did the basic colour changes through the customizer and added a header image. Now I want to keep the page background but to change the background of the logo and main menu area just above the header image which in my case is a little grey line. Thanks! :)

Achieving this will require multiple elements be styled. Unfortunately the particular section you are looking to style starting at the little grey line does not exactly line up, therefor you will have to adjust the surrounding elements if you want to make it happen. Your sticky social media icon menu also brings in another area of consideration. Perhaps it may be worth considering an alternative style choice.
However there is one major item to note, the website lussobabies.com is actually a self-hosted WordPress.org site rather than WordPress.com.
