twenty sixteen theme remove author bio from bottom of blog post

  Hello, I have looked online for the answer…but could not find it. How do I switch off the bio at the bottom of the blog post in the twenty sixteen theme? I thought there was a section somewhere that had a checklist with items that you could select or not select…to choose what would appear on the post. I cannot find this to turn off the author bio on blog post.

  Could someone direct me to the right location to adjust this issue?

  There is no way to hide the author bio box in Twenty Sixteen without custom CSS. The reason is that Twenty Sixteen is a default theme maintained outside of WordPress.com, and the way the author bio box was implemented is not compatible with our Content Options system.

  With custom CSS, you can hide the box like so:

  .single-post .author-info {
    display: none;
  }

  Custom CSS is available with the Premium or Business plans.
