Twenty Ten iPad submenu not closing
-
I am not sure this is the right forum for this question, hard to know where it should go. My site is now pretty close to how I want it but one problem I notice with an iPad is when I open a main header menu to reveal submenus, there is no way to make the submenus disappear without selecting one – ie the equivalent of clicking somewhere else on the page to close the menu (but stay on the same page) has no effect. It seems to be the same for Safari and for Chrome. Can anything be done about this?
Thanks Andrew

Hi Andrew!
I know you’ve done a lot of work on your site but for this we would recommend that you switch to a newer theme.
The Twenty Sixteen theme deals with this well. You can view the theme demo for that here: https://twentysixteendemo.wordpress.com/

Hi starxedsteph,
I spent a few days right at the start experimenting with twenty sixteen and I just don’t like it. I don’t like how the main menus work, especially on small screens like the iPad (submenus horizontal), I don’t like that the menu is above the header image if I use one, also there is way too much whitespace in it. Some of this can be tweaked with CSS but overall I don’t think I can get what I want. Later, when the site is established I may spend more time experimenting with different themes but for now it is Twenty Ten and I like Twenty Ten, there is very little wrong with it (with the considerable help I have been given by people in this forum)
Thanks again
Andrew
