Twenty Ten not working properly?

  My primary widget is showing up at the bottom of my screen all of a sudden. What happened (I didn’t change anything) and how do I fix it?

  Anyone else having this problem?

  I haver read these forums and done evrything suggested… took out all links and even the italics and bold… still no changes.

  I suppose my best bet at this point is to start deleted blogs and re-posting? I know it is either my post from yesterday or the day before.

  Did you read and follow the directions on the two links I gave you? They give instructions on how to have WordPress.COM software correct what is probably an open div Tag and tips on how not to have the problem in the future. Did you paste in from some other type of editor? That can give you all sorts of problems unless you paste into the Plain Text or Word box.

  I did read those directions and did everything they said to do. I do not copy and paste my posts… I just write my blogs and save until I am ready to publish. I do put in links, but mostly from my own previous blogs.

  I noticed this problem yesterday, so I am going to delete that post and try again.

  I just started deleting posts until it fixed itself. Not sure what the problem was, as I saw nothing abnormal in the html… but, it is working now! Thanks for your help.

  Sometimes things can get confused when editing and formatting things and that is why the “should correct html errors” is recommended by many people to help keep the formatting straight.

  To satisfy your curiosity, the problem was in the post “Things That Make Me Smile”: the paragraph “It is amazing [etc etc] your circumstances.” started with an opening div tag but ended with a closing p tag.
