Twenty Ten post, replicating sample

In the Twenty Ten sample, there is an entry with a blue color background. The next post is the default background. I am trying to replicate this but cannot figure out how. Can you help with this? Does it have something to do with Formating using preformatted? Thanks.

To pick a background color
Dashboard >> Appearance >> Background
Either pick from the color wheel (select color) or enter a hex value

it looks to me that the bacground categorie is for the area around the entire blog not inside it. Is that right? And if the background means the post and I change the background color, won’t it change the entire blog, not post by post? Thanks!

You can click on “member” under a person’s name to see a list of their posts as well. -
The background of the one post on the example is a sticky post.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/Generally, the Sticky option is only used for one or two posts on a blog. It should not be used for every post. Be sure to uncheck the Sticky option on that post to move it back to its place in chronological order.
The above quote from the link is important: If you try to make all of your posts sticky, they will start appearing all out of order.

Sorry, I am new to Forum and could not find the first entry. I found it later by accident really, clicking around, after I had entered it again. I thought I had not entered it correctly the first time.
Is there a theme that has the option to change the background color of a post??

Dark Wood has a transparent posting area so background shows through
also check Koi, Modularity Lite, Woo Wei, others…Go to Appearance —> Themes —> click on feature filters —> choose to look at custom background
