Twenty Thirteen: How to post full size images
-
How do I post full size images in Twenty Thirteen? When I post an image (1280 X 853), its size is reduced in the post. I set all the dimensions right before I post, but I get a smaller image. I am I doing anything wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is a maximum displayed image width on any blog. Please consult the theme description http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentythirteen/
Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels)
The main column width is 604
The header image size is 1600 wide and 230 high.
The featured image and image post formats work best with images that are least 724 wide. -
I actually followed all those specifics. They say ”image post formats work best with images that are least 724 wide” I think this statement means I can post images wider that 724. I am I wrong?

I changed the theme. Activated ”Nishita” http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/nishita/.
It main column width is 1024, but I still can not get smaller images in my posts. Very frustrated.

This statement means you can upload images wider than 724px, but it doesn’t mean that they will show up in their original size when you insert them.
Each theme automatically downsizes oversized images so that they’ll fit in the area you insert them.
The main content area in 2013 is 604px wide. When you insert an image in the content of a regular post and select the “full size” option, this means original size, if the original is 604px or narrower, or downsized to 604px, if the original is wider.
When you upload an image via the Add Media tool of a post and set the post format to Image, or when you set a featured image to a post, this image won’t show in the regular content area, it will show above the post title. The area above the title is 724px wide, so again, if the original is 724px or narrower it will show in its original size , but if it’s wider it will be downsized to 724px.But now you’re asking how to display smaller images? I thought your problem was the opposite!

You’re welcome.
Nishita will display 1024px wide images if you don’t add any sidebar widgets.
