  Hello!

  i use twenty thirteen and uploaded a header pic. now the search button in gone invincible…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  One more thing:

  i use:

  .entry-meta {
  display: none;
  }

  but i would like to still have comments. That disappear . what css to fix?

  Thanks for reporting this. It was actually a bit tricky to track down, but the search placeholder icon disappears when you change custom colors in Appearance → Themes → Customize → Colors. I believe this is a bug in how the color scheme is setup for this theme (so not a theme bug and not a colors tool bug, but a combination of the two). I will look into this and get back to you when I have more information.

  In the mean time, here’s a temporary fix that may work for now. I tested it on my site and it worked, can you try it out?

  .site-header .searchform [type="search"] {
  	background-image: url(http://s0.wp.com/wp-content/themes/pub/twentythirteen/images/search-icon.png);
  	padding-left: 34px !important;
  }

  Hi superjanne, the missing search icon was a bug with Custom Colors. Should be fixed now. Sorry for the trouble.
