twenty thirteen post background colors

  The preview of twenty thirteen shows posts in different background colors. Is this a custom feature or will my posts show up with different colors?

  Hi there,

  Yes, this is a feature of the theme. Twenty Thirteen uses a different background colors for posts with post formats. For example, posts with the Gallery post format have a yellow background, posts with the Video post format have an orange background, and so on. If you assign your posts to a post format, you’ll be able to see these background colors. For more information on post formats, please see: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-formats/
