Twenty Thirteen Sidebar and Alignment
-
I am using the Twenty Thirteen theme, and I know that it has both a full-page and a secondary sidebar configuration. I also know, from trying things out on my test blog, that if I put widgets in the secondary sidebar and set them to visible, the main content shifts to the left to accomodate them; but if a page has no visibile secondary sidebar widgets, it will default to the centered, full width alignment.
However, on my actual blog, http://ecumenicallife.com, this isn’t the case. Even on pages that have all secondary sidebar widgets hidden, the main content stays on the left as if there were secondary sidebar widgets visible.
Why does the content not shift back to the center when there are no visible secondary sidebar widgets?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

After further experimentation, this problem only happens when I try to use the “Top Posts and Pages” and “Recent Posts” widgets. Even when they are hidden, the theme treats them as if they are visible and adjusts the layout accordingly. When I remove those widgets, and there are no visible widgets on a page, the content is centered.
I figured this out by moving all of my widgets to the Inactive section and adding them one by one until I found the widgets causing the problem, removing them and adding others to be sure.
