Twenty Twelve advice

  Hi all,

  I like the look of twenty twelve because I like having a header image without text on top of it, but I don’t like the date format for my posts – you have to scroll down to the bottom to see date I posted. I also don’t like that it has “leave a reply” before you even read the post. That’s silly.
  Is there any way of changing the configuration for this theme?

  If not, can you suggest a similar theme that has a more user-friendly blog post display?

  Dara and Lovecraft are the first two that come to mind for me – scanning through the demo sites for the free themes should help to find additional options if you’d like

  That Leave a Reply link generally only appears for posts that don’t have any comments yet. On posts that have comments, the number of comments on the post is displayed, which can help build interest in the post – not all themes use it, but that is one advantage to it on the themes that do :)
