Twenty-Twelve Header Issue – Header's correct size but not appearing on tablet
-
I made a new header in the suggested 960 x 250 size for the 2012 theme. It looks normal on my computer, but on my iPad mini, there’s nothing but a tiny white box of the left side of the screen about where the header should be. Any ideas of what to do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, it’s beautyonline247.com. I do have a header on there. It shows on my Mac laptop but not on my tablet.

With FF 40.0.2 no image displays, nor any sign of one, on my PC. However, with Google Chrome an image symbol displays above the top post. I don’t know what would cause that.
You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.

Thanks, I added the tag. I still see the header on my Macbook notebook, but that’s it. I have the exact same header uploaded on Tumblr at: http://beautyonline247.tumblr.com so that’s how it should look. I double checked the pixel size, so I’m not sure why it’s not appearing on all devices.

Have you disabled the mobile theme?
Twenty Twelve is responsive layout theme. The mobile ready theme is default and a completely different theme that you do not need to enable at all.
A responsive layout theme adapts to different screen sizes so that your website will work (and be optimized for) iPhones, iPads, Android and other mobile devices. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.
When we use a responsive theme we disable the mobile theme. Go to > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme.

If you have disabled the mobile theme and still have an Ipad mini display issue, here’s the link for the iOs forum for the WordPress app so you can post there and make our WordPress developers aware of your issue. http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and make our developers aware of the issue.

The mobile theme is not enabled. I see the header on my phone, iPad and laptop now. Can anyone else tell me if they see it? It seems putting it up as a PNG works, but if someone can confirm it’s appearing. Thanks.

@ beautyonline247,
Yes, your header image is displaying now. This one: https://beautyonline247.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/cropped-bo247-t.png. -

@ timethief,
No. I’m visiting it with a PC with FF 40.0.2, and Google Chrome 44.0.2403.155 m, but the results are relevant because there was no header image displayed previously when I visited with the same browsers on the same PC, and now there is. -
I’m on a PC too. I don’t have an opportunity to leave this area and go to our studio and use an IPad for viewing the image. That’s why I provided the link to the iOS forums above.

I’m seeing the header image on all of the devices I have here. I’m removing modlook for now, but if you need more help, let us know by re-adding that tag.
