Twenty Twelve theme browser compatibility issue

    Hi,
    In Firefox and Safari, Twenty Twelve renders great. In IE, the top navigation (Home, About) doesn’t show and instead I get a button-like visual labeled “Menu” floating in the top header. Has that happened to anyone? Is there a way to resolve it?
