Twenty Twenty-Two – Image colours

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello guys, I realised that all the images posted in the blog under this theme automatically become Black & White with the option of having a duotone preset. But it doesn’t allow the images to present their full range of colours. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi @tingyanglim, that particular theme only allows duotones. There isn’t an option to unset that yet, but there is a feature request out there for that.

You could change to a different duotone if you’d like, but if you dislike the duotone effect altogether, for now, I’d recommend using a different theme.

    Hoping this helps!

Thanks for your response @supernovia ! I’ve changed to another theme. Twenty Twenty-Two is very nice tho. Would be perfect if duotone filter is not forced haha. Thanks again!

Hello, @tingyanglim! Would you mind telling my which one you choosed? I loved this one but also want the images full colored.

    Thanks!

  • @lidiaenlaluna,

This issue is only present on the colour variations of Twenty Twenty-Two.

If you use the base version of that theme you shouldn’t run into this issue, as that version doesn’t use duotone filter by default.

Also just a small clarification – this issue is being caused by a bug in the WordPress software itself that’s preventing the duotone filter from being disabled if any theme sets it by default. The people who make WordPress over on WordPress.org are aware of the issue, but we don’t have a timeline yet on when this will be fixed.
