twentyeleven customization

I use twentyeleven theme and I would like to have the left sidebar visible even int the post page, is that possible? If it is not possible with twentyeleven, do you know which themes allows me to always show the left sidebar on the posts pages?
And, if I change theme, do all my personalizations (colors, header, changed width, widgets, etc.) remain? Moreover the width of the post area on the single post page is smaller than the width of the post area in the main blog page (I previously modified the width of the entire page and of the two parts with CSS). I would like to have the same width of the post area that I have in the Home page on the single post page. How can I do it?
thank you for any help

Hi there,
The TwentyEleven theme is actually supposed to have the sidebar on all pages, including posts. You may want to try making a test post which just has regular text and ensure that the sidebar is showing up for you.

Hi,
I actually did a test post, but on the page of the post the left sidebar is not showing. How can I have the left sidebar always present? -
Heya,
I just did some more research, and it appears that TwentyEleven is one of our few themes which does not keep the sidebar when you visit an actual post! I’ve gone ahead and verified that TwentyEleven’s follow up, TwentyTwelve does keep its sidebars when you view a post, so if you’d like to go with that instead, you may be pleased with it. You can preview it by logging in to your account and going to Appearance >> Themes >> searching for “twelve” and then clicking on “Preview.”

Thank you! but if I change the theme do all my customizations (colors, width, menu, ecc) ramain?

I tried the preview but I couldn’t see my customizations, How can I keep the customizations?
Thanks -
Any changes that were made via CSS will remain, though you might have to reset the width. Any color changes made by the custom color changer will need to be resent.
Your widgets may have to be reset, though that is a rare case. Usually they will travel between themes. The menus which you created will also still exist, though you may have to turn on the menu again (which is done with a couple of clicks in the menu interface).

No, TwentyTwelve’s header image is placed below the menu bar. If this does not suit you, you can search for other themes which might suit your needs by going in your Dashboard to Appearance >> Themes and then click on the Feature Filter link on the right hand side of the screen. You can then search based on a variety of needs.

I think I’ll stay with twentyeleven for the moment, thank you!
I have one more problem:
the width of the post area on the single post page is smaller than the width of the post area in the main blog page (I previously modified the width of the entire page and of the two parts with CSS). I would like to increase the width of the post area on the single post page. How can I do it? -
You will need to consult with the CSS Customization Forum in order to get the correct code to increase the width of the post page. You review what others have already asked (someone else might have had the same question) and if necessary ask yourself right here:
