twentyfifteen: reduce whitespace on the left between widgets

  Hi,
  for our website (we help refugees) I set up a twentyfifteen child theme with some widgets.

  How do I reduce white space
  – below the logo
  – below the main menu so the widget area is visible higher up?

  It looks like you are using a WordPress.org self hosted installation.

  WordPress comes in two flavours. WordPress.com and WordPress.org

  Marcus, there is a dedicated Twenty Fifteen Support Forum at WordPress.org where you can post questions for your self-hosted site.

  To get you started, these two CSS rules will allow you to change the bottom margin on the logo at top and below the navigation.

  margin-bottom: 20%;
  }
  .main-navigation {
  margin-bottom: 20%;
  }
