Twentyfourteen flyout menu don't work?

  Hi,
  I have problems with the “flyout” menu on the left (vertical) that does not display the “flyout”. Inoktre I would like to know if it is possible to insert lines dividers. I just wish that it looks the same as the “demo site“

  Just for clarification, WordPress comes in different flavors.
