TwentyFourteen: Getting an Image List for Recent Posts Widget

  Hello!

  I noticed that the ‘Top Posts & Pages’ widget allows users to display their posts as a Text List, Image List, or Image Grid.

  If you take a look at my blog, you’ll see the Image List display in action on the right side under “You May Like…”

  I’d like to replicate the Image List format with the ‘Recent Posts’ widget. Is there any way to do this at all?

  I think my first post was worded poorly.

  Basically, I just want the ‘Recent Posts’ widget to have the Image List formatting instead of just text.

  Does that configuration option exist in the Recent Posts widget or not?

  Thanks for the quick response. I guess there isn’t any way to put thumbnails on the recent posts widget after all.
