twentyfourteen – hiding the category heading for a menu item

Can you advise if it is possible to get rid of the extremely ugly “Category Archives: press release” heading on this page? I am using a combination of pages and category tags for my top menu, and sadly the category ones (latest news and press releases) look a bit pants, and also push out the alignment of the featured images.
:(Any help much appreciated.
