Twentyseventeen: change colour of page titles
-
Hi
My links are in #008488, also in the menu. I’d like to keep that.
But I would like to change the titles on my pages to #46505A, because they’re not links.
I found out how to do it on https://rdm2017.wordpress.com/resources/about/news and the single blog posts, but not for the other pages.
Thank you :-)

Hi Manuela,
I can see the pages that you’ve successfully changed the titles to #46505A. Great work so far!
The reason that it’s working on blogs posts but not on your pages is due to another rule that is overriding your custom rule.
To override the rule for pages, add the following to your custom CSS:
body.page:not(.twentyseventeen-front-page) .entry-title, .page:not(.twentyseventeen-front-page) .entry-title,The full CSS targeting your titles should look like this:
body.page:not(.twentyseventeen-front-page) .entry-title, .page:not(.twentyseventeen-front-page) .entry-title, h2.entry-title, h1.entry-title, h1.page-title { font-family: "Univers Light", sans-serif; font-size: 1.3rem !important; color: #46505A }The reason for this is due to the nature of CSS specificity. If you’re interested, more information about specificity can be found here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Web/CSS/Specificity
Good luck with your website!
Let me know how you go :)
Aaron
