twitter and blog follower count not showing properly

  I’ve been getting new followers (both blog and twitter) and the changes aren’t being seen on my blog – It’s currently showing 600 followers, but I have gained followers since hitting that number and I’ve checked to make sure no one has unfollowed me (on twitter and on my actual blog).
  Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi there. Stats can take a while to update, especially the Twitter follower stats which has to be fetched from Twitter. I see your widget now shows 614 followers. Does that sound more accurate to you?

  You can see your exact number of WordPress.com followers on the Stats page, so please use that to check.
