twitter and fb icons not showing in “sharing”

  I want to add the twitter button and fb sharing button to all of my blogs. According to wordpress.com if I go to “sharing” on my dashboard, these two icons, along with “email” and “print” should be buttons I can choose from to enable and add to every blog. However, neither the twitter or fb button show in my “sharing” section. How do I get these buttons and why aren’t they showing in my “sharing” section?

  You blog is currently set to Private, so all sharing options (with the exception of email and print) will remain hidden until your blog is public.

  Ohmygod, I just spent the past two hours trying to add social networking icons because the WordPress ones weren’t showing up for me. Must’ve missed this thread in my frustration. Thank you SO much!
