Twitter and Linked In Followers Not in Stats

  Hello,

  My Facebook followers show up in my stats via publicize, but my Twitter and LinkedIn followers do not. I tried de-linking Twitter and re-establishing but still nothing.

  How do I get a comprehensive view of all 3 in my stats window?

  You can view all of your Publicize-enabled followers via the bottom-left corner of http://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/

  If you don’t see a particular group of followers there, try reconnecting: http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/ (note that there are specific steps for each Publicize service).

  Depending on the service, the numbers will reappear either within 24 hours or after your next post.

  Hi All,

  Just wondering if the staff has been able to look at this yet? I’ve tried to turn publicize on and off a few times and still nothing. I should see the stat #s for both linked-in and twitter correct?

  Yes, I am staff, and that was my reply left 5 days ago.

  Turning Publicize on and off does not reconnect it. You need to follow the full reconnect guide for the specific service listed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

  Thanks Mac…I disconnected everything and waited for a republish to try again. Seems Twitter connected now in the stats, but still nada for Linked in…thoughts?

  Oh, I’m not sure why I didn’t mention this earlier. At this time, we have no way to retrieve a follower count from Linked In via their API.

  Oh ok, that explains it then.

  Can you tell me how often the counts are updated on the stats page for twitter and fb followers? I published an article yesterday and thought that would also update the counts (FB is off by 11 and twitter by 7) at this point in time.

  Officially, it’s as often as they send the new numbers to us, which seems to be within 24 hours of new posts, but sometimes it also seems like miss sending the update.
