twitter and linkedin buttons on blog?

i’d like to add a twitter button on my blog without an embedded twitter feed and the theme (sight) seems to only allow the embedded feed and i can’t figure out how to paste a bird with hyperlink. also would like to add a linkedin widget and can’t figure out how to do that in this theme.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks Timethief. Only private until populated–live later this weekend. I’ll try the follow button but in this theme it seems to also populate embedded twitter timeline. I want the follow without that.

The two are completely separate as far as I know.

If you still need help type modlook into the sidebar tags in this thread for Staff assistance.
