Twitter and Pinterest follow me buttons/widgets not displaying on my blog

  Hi,

  I have some big issues for a long time with 2 follow me buttons (Twitter and Pinterest). Their widgets (follow me buttons) don’t appear on my blog. Instead of the button I see just some text and a link.
  I copy the original HTML code from their websites and put each of them in a text window (widget area) like I do with all other widgets. Just these 2 are not functioning at all.

  We cannot use JavaScript widgets like the one you ask for provided by Pinterest on WordPress.com blogs for security reasons.

  You can capture a Pinterest image and upload it, link to it and display it in a text widget in your sidebar.
