Twitter counter at bottom of posts isn't updating/working/has disappeared

  The twitter icon/counter on the bottom of my posts has disappeared. It was working fine until recently. Now, not only has the counter stopped working, but the twitter icon has disappeared completely. (I believe it is visable to others, however, but I want to see it, too.) I haven’t changed any of my settings. Kindly help. :)

  When I look at your individual post page, I see the Twitter button in the Share section, below your post text.

  Would you like the Twitter button to show up on your front page, as well? If so, you can do this by going to your Dashboard -> Settings -> Sharing and click on “Front Page, Archive Pages, and Search Results” next to “Show buttons on.”
