Twitter counter doesn't work correct

  The Twitter counter says a blog post is tweeted once, I see on Twitter it’s at least tweeted and Retweeted 20 times. Sometimes it shows the correct number, very often it shows one or two tweets, while the reality is twenty or thirty. Is there something i can do to fix that?
