twitter counter stopped counting.

  up until a few days ago every time i tweeted through the tweet button on bottom of posts and pages on my blog it appeared on my twitter feed and also the counter counted one up, also when that tweet was retweeted the counter counted that in my blog. now it defenately appears on my twitter feed but the counter stays at cero. how can i fix this. i already tried disconnecting and reconnecting my twitter account on the sharing option of the wordpress platform.
