Twitter Embed doesn't work in comments?

  I recently moved from a wordpress.com to a self-hosted wordpress blog. One of the things that is broken is that twitter embeds ( http://en.support.wordpress.com/twitter/twitter-embeds/ ) are not working in the comments section. Is there any known plugin that will enable such a feature?

  There is no FTP access and no blogger initiated plugin capability on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes anything at all stated here http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ FTP access, and plugins are available only for VIP bloggers http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ or for those with WordPress.ORG installs.
