Twitter Feeds Are Not Working With The Twitter Block

    Hi everyone!

    I’ve recently noticed on my blog at https://www.blipseekr.com that the Twitter block is no longer showing my Twitter Feed. It has been like this for several days, or possibly longer before I noticed. This was working previously.

    I went to the support page for the Twitter Block at https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/twitter-block/ and there is nothing noted on that page about this issue, so I’m going to assume no one else has reported this. I also noticed that the demo Twitter feed on the support page is not working as well.

    Does anyone have any information about what is going on with this?

    Hey there,

    Many thanks for reaching out.

    This is actually due to one of the many changes being implemented at Twitter HQ with their API.

    We actually don’t have a fix with this currently, as this isn’t WordPress.com specific, but will happen across the web.

    Twitter are making changes and, alas, we’re at their behest as to what they decide.

    That probably doesn’t help much, but it’s the reality currently with Twitter.
