Twitter followers added to stats

  Hi
  My twitter account was activated before my blog and my blog name is taken. Is there another way I can add my Twitter follower number to my stats?

  If you connect your Twitter account through Publicize as explained below, your Twitter followers should be added into your total number of followers:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#twitter
