Twitter followers not updating on stats or blog widget (publicize)

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I’ve connected my site through Publicize and it’s updated my blog widget (as well as the insights page on my stats) with my Facebook followers, but hasn’t done the same with my Twitter account. I’ve disconnected and reconnected, and I’ve gone through all the steps suggested in other forums (clearing cookie cache, revoking WordPress access on Twitter and starting everything from scratch, etc.) but it still won’t connect. I’m not sure what else to do.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there,
It looks like your site is hosted elsewhere – the nameservers point to Vidacloud, not to the servers at WordPress.com. Your site is using the WordPress software from WordPress.org so you’d really need to ask your question in their forums. It is easy to get the two mixed up. Here is a direct link to the WordPress.org forum: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ however as you mention linking to Publicize which is a Jetpack product, you could check out their troubleshooting pageif you haven’t already, or try the Jetpack forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack .
Having said that, I’m seeing a follower figure next to your Twitter follow button which looks like it is accurate, so perhaps you have resolved it or it was a cache issue as you suggested?

I didn’t realise they were different. Thanks for pointing that out, and for all the links. The Twitter follow button is fine, but the followers don’t show up on my insights page as part of Publicize, or in my widget either. But I’ll take this to the other forums like you suggested. Thanks again :)

I’ve forced a refresh of your connected Publicize accounts, and your Twitter followers should now be showing.
We are able to help with Publicize issues here as well, so no need to refer a user somewhere else if they’ve already posted here.

If it’s regarding the Reader, followers, Publicize or stats we should be able to help here, so you can just modlook those threads. For other Jetpack issues, point people directly to the Jetpack forums or the Jetpack contact page, as that’s generally a better option than the general WordPress.org forums.
