Twitter Imbed
-
I want to add T imbed in a post. I followed tutorial, the imbed shows perfectly in the draft, but only the URL shows in the Post on my blog. What did I do wrong. I did after several tries go to wordpress.com to get it to show in draft. It would not take draft from the .org or mysite/wp-admin route
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m sorry, but http://www.americascrossroad.com/ is not hosted at WordPress.com. As such, we are unable to provide any direct assistance in this manner.
The fact that the site may have been built using WordPress, or may mention ‘Powered by WordPress’ (or something similar) simply means it is using the WordPress.org software, which can be downloaded and installed on any web host.
If you’re interested, you can learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
I would recommend checking out these resources if your site was indeed built with WordPress software:

Did you paste the embed code in the Visual or Text (HTML) form of the post? It will only work if entered in the Text section.

Darnell,
If WordPress is so small minded that, since It does not host my site, even though I use the added benefit of Jetpack, why does WordPress make the Blog software available. I can work either at wordpress.com with my wordpress.com password or mysite.com/wp-admin, wordpress.org, with a separate password. Are you saying that WordPress does not want me to have the best WordPress Blog possible? I do not understand the lack of motivation to make WordPress the best Blog software available to all.
Why do all the tutorials lead me to this site and you, if you will not help. None of this makes much sense if you actually want WordPress to be the best.
I did get suggestions from another support person which I will try.
Confused.

Thanks for the question.
I got half way logging in at wordpress.com after getting nowhere logging in at mysite.com/wp-admin. I am a young geezer, so I do not remember. I will go back and try both.

Hi Mark,
We do not have access to the backend of your site, so we are limited in how we can assist you – but in particular this forum specializes in WordPress.com issues. I suggested http://wordpress.org/support because it is specifically designed to assist the needs of users with self-hosted sites and they have staff and moderators that are more than happy to assist you as well.
