Twitter: I've changed my handle

  I’ve changed my Twitter handle but it has not changed on WordPress. Whenever someone shares a posy from WordPress, it still states my old Twitter handle.

  Are you using Publicize? If so then see here for disconnecting one Twitter address and reconnecting with another. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

  For sharing buttons you will also need to make the correction as well.

  Add Social Share Buttons

  Hi, Thank you for your response.

  Yes, I have disconnected my old twitter account and re-connected the new one. (I double checked now) I did it by the “settings” then “sharing” tab. I’ve also checked in the published posts and it is showing my new twitter handle.

  My problem is someone shares a post of mine using the Twitter button, it still posts, using my old Twitter handle.

  Have your gone to your Twitter account logged in and removed the app there?

  Log into your Twitter account. Then go to your Settings > Apps page and locate WordPress.com app there and click the “Revoke access” button.
