Twitter keeps posting older blogposts every time I update them in WordPress

    Hi,
    I have just noticed a weird thing that I am not sure how to stop regarding the Twitter publicize feature. I have WordPress post new blogs to Twitter, which is fine, but I am going through my old blogs and updating little things like pics and tags, and I’ll press ‘update’, but WordPress will push that blog to Twitter like it’s newly posted. I go into the Publicize section of that blog, and Twitter is checked but ghosted, so I can’t turn off Twitter for that post.
    How do I stop WordPress from pushing newly updated posted to Twitter? Do I have to disconnect Twitter every time I want to update a post?
