  Hey guys,

  Does anyone know how to shorten a WordPress URL so that I can link it to a twitter post? Is that even possible? What I mean is, when I go to link a specific WordPress Blog Post in my twitter message the URL is HUGE, http://www.wordpress.com/hhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

  It’s taken up all my twitter characters. I’m left twitter posting the main address to my blog. Is there anyway to resolve this?

  Go to get shortlink when you are in the post editor.

  Also, Twitter has its own shortener which will automatically convert your long URL to a short one if you post it and then hit SPACE at the end. Tweetdeck has one, Hootsuite has one, all the apps have one.
