twitter profile not showing up in embeds

  I’m trying to embed a Twitter profile but all I’m getting is a link to the profile. How do I show most recent Tweets?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Can you tell me a bit more about what you are trying to set up? You are trying to embed a single tweet onto a page or blog post on your site? https://wordpress.com/support/twitter/#pull-content-from-single-tweets-or-tweetstorms

  Or is it the case that you are trying to set up a widget in your site footer that pulls in recent posts from your Twitter timeline? https://wordpress.com/support/twitter/#add-a-twitter-timeline-widget

  Please note that Twitter does not provide a way to embed your entire timeline into a page (so that you have your Twitter feed on your site) so the only way to do that is by using the widget option.

  I was trying to link to a person’s twitter profile! I was trying to do it using a widget. Is there a way to do that?

  Thanks for clarifying! The Twitter Timeline widget above should show the most recent tweets if it’s set up properly.

  Looking at your site’s Interviews page it looks like you might be referring to Tweets by abirdbear link as shown here: screenshot https://d.pr/i/vIPWSf

  If you see that message that means you have a browser extension or other software setting on your computer that is blocking social media tracking in the browser. You can confirm if you view your Interviews page in an incognito window which wouldn’t use any extensions to block Twitter: screenshot https://d.pr/i/08CpPL

  Turning off my container tabs on Firefox fixed it! Thank you.
