Twitter Publicize Glitch

  Hi! I have a lot of twitter followers, and I use Publicize with Twitter. Since I constantly get more and more followers, I update the number often on WordPress, so that the number of followers rises (above the follow button). Now, it seems as though none of my 4.9K twitter followers are counted as part of my (141) follower count visible on the homepage of my blog.
  Is there any way to get rid of this glitch?
