Twitter scrollbar
-
Hi! I have finally figured out how to add the Twitter timeline to my website. However, it does not have the scroll bar feature. I would like to have the scroll bar on there so I can add more recent tweets to my blog. Is it because of my theme? Please let me know.
I appreciate it!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Perhaps the issue is caused by the narrow sidebar width on the Inove theme. Or perhaps it is because you are using a retired theme.Themes are retired when they no longer support all features. You could try using another theme to see what happens.
You can quickly and easily change themes to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.
Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and browse themes until you find one you like and click “activate” or type in the name of the theme you want to use and
click the “activate” link when it appears. After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.

Great! Thank you for all of the helpful information. I will give this a try, and let you know if I have any other questions.
Have a great day!

Try with the shortcode, and past into the text widget. The Twitter timeline widget doesn’t have scrollbar. The shortcode have it.

Hi galois
Thanks so much for chiming in here. :) I do not use that widget and had no idea that was so. Now I do. -

TT: you’re welcome!
@zinahermez: you’re welcome too. :)Actually, sometimes the widget Twitter timeline works. But the shortcode always works.

Thanks so much you guys. But I’m having trouble with the short code. I would like to know, where I put the short code into? Do I put it in place of the Widget ID? Or do I copy it into an actual post?
Also, some of my words on my blog have been double underlined throughout my posts and about page. I am not sure why there is a double underline. I think that means I have tagged those items. Could you help me with how to remove the double underline?
Thank you so much, I appreciate your assistance!

Copy the ID number (ID from-your twitter timeline) and paste in the text widget. Then, drag the text widget to your sidebar

Thank you! I will try that right now.
Could you please tell me why there are so many double underlines under certain words in my about page and in my post. I don’t want so many words “tagged” or double underlined. Is it the theme? I tried to go to customize design theme but the page is taking a while to load.
Thanks!

I do not see what you see. You have an issue on your browser or computer. The lines and links are being placed there by software on your own computer, unfortunately. These are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.
These sites have further explanation and suggestions for eliminating them:

Yes, you are right. I don’t see the double underlines when I view my page on Mozilla Firefox. I only see them on Internet Explorer.
I do still see many tags in blue on posts, but those are usually names of things.
Okay, well thanks for your help. I will have to figure out how to remove the malware or virus.
Thanks again :)

Disable all browser addons, clear your browser cache and cookies, https://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=15141 then log in again and see if that works. NOTE: It will not work on the most persistent ones.
